Developed under the Department of State’s recently adopted Design Excellence program, the new office annex will feature seven stories and include the latest in architectural and sustainable design. The building is being constructed on the current U.S. Embassy complex in Moscow in close proximity to the center of the city and public transportation. A dynamic streetscape is planned for the side facing the Russian White House.
When finished, the annex will include the consular and public diplomacy sections, as well as an auditorium for press events, large meetings and exhibitions. The facility will also provide space for 300 desks for State Department and US federal agency personnel and two floors of residential apartments. Project completion is anticipated for late 2016.
Ross is manufacturing a wide variety of its Architectural Security Fenestration products, including a large custom-designed curtain wall system.
