Considering the current events surrounding the Coronavirus and its associated disruption to business activities around the world, Ross Technology will be providing customers with periodic updates regarding the potential impacts on our operations and delivery schedules. We take our role as your supplier very seriously and as such, are committed to doing everything possible to minimize, and even eliminate any inconveniences to your company’s operations.
While the Governor of Pennsylvania has recently urged nonessential businesses across the state to close for at least 14 days, Ross Technology is considered an essential business under the Industrial Manufacturer classification, and therefore, will continue all office and manufacturing activities as normal.
Recognizing the seriousness of this virus, Ross is also fully committed to the well-being of our employees, customers and vendors, and therefore, has implemented the following measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Education for all employees regarding best practices to identify and minimize the spread of the virus.
- Travel policy that restricts inbound visits and outbound travel until it is deemed safe to do so.
- Plans for office staff to work remotely in case we need to limit or cease operations temporarily
Looking ahead, I am happy to report that we do not see any disruptions to our delivery schedule for current or future orders. Our ability to procure raw materials has not changed and our material suppliers appear to be well-stocked and positive concerning their ability to provide uninterrupted service. We will continue to monitor the market and mitigate delivery risks using all means possible.
