As events surrounding the Coronavirus continue to unfold, our focus at Ross Technology remains the same – manufacturing public safety and physical security solutions to protect people, property and products.
Many of you are probably aware that Governor Tom Wolf recently ordered all non-life sustaining businesses in our state to close. We are happy to report that Ross has received official notification from the State of Pennsylvania clarifying our position as a business that contributes to the health and safety of the Commonwealth, which does not require a waiver or exemption to remain open. All Ross manufacturing facilities will, therefore, continue to operate as planned and all deliveries will proceed without interruption.
We would also like to communicate that, on a federal level, Ross manufactures products in fulfillment of purchase orders tied to Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS)-Rated contracts with a national security priority rating of DH-08. These contracts are covered by the Defense Production Act (DPA), which was invoked by President Trump on March 18th, making our products mission-critical to the safety of our citizens abroad and our performance mandatory.
We will continue to monitor all State, Federal and CDC guidelines on a daily basis and will implement all appropriate measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers and vendors. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to Ross during this challenging time and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
