Ross was formed in 1962 by Donald E. Speicher out of a passion for fabricating metal and a knack for developing creative technologies that challenge the status quo and advance product design. These founding principles have guided Ross extremely well for over 5 decades and remain at the core of what drives the company going forward.

Based in Lancaster County PA, Ross manufactures Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems. Operating out of 250,000 square feet of production space in 3 separate facilities, we serve worldwide markets from Kazakhstan to Cameroon, Moscow to London, and New York to LA. We are everywhere it matters.

Ross works alongside architects and engineers early in the design phase to provide vital support in the development of comprehensive specifications, drawings and designs that meet the latest industry testing standards, integrate with adjacent construction materials and satisfy targets for creativity and sustainability. We also play an active role in assisting contractors throughout the submittal, installation and key-turnover phases.

1962

Ross Technology Aerial Preview

Ross opens operations as a steel fabrication shop in a re-purposed service station on Main St in Leola, PA.

Ross purchases a second manufacturing plant on Maple Ave in Leola, PA increasing production space by 55,000 square feet.

Algrip® Slip Resistant Metal Floor Plate, manufactured by incorporating aluminum oxide into the rolling process, is launched as Ross’s second major product line.
