Ross Technology heavy-duty racks are engineered to safely meet a broad spectrum of loading capacities. Marketed under the Dexco brand, our cantilever systems support loads ranging from 1,000 pounds to 20,000 pounds per individual rack arm. Coil, die and widespan racks support loads ranging from 2,000 pounds to 80,000 pounds per shelf. Designs for higher weight requirements are also available.
These qualities set our racking systems and services apart:
- I-beam construction: We are the only U.S. rack manufacturer to fabricate exclusively with wide flange I-beams. As a result, our systems are better equipped to store heavy equipment and raw materials such as stamping dies, aluminum coils, steel plate, lumber and paper.
- Engineering standards: Dexco® Racks are engineered using the American Institute of Steel Construction standards for buildings and bridges. This approach allows us to develop industry- leading solutions capable of optimizing both space and safety.
- Comprehensive support: Ross can custom design a rack system to suit your unique storage needs. Our services include site visits, system layouts, rack design, engineering drawings (AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor) and installation.
- Strength and durability: Our wide flange I-beams have a 50 KSI minimum yield, offering greater resistance to forklift damage compared to roll-formed and tube steel. We also fully weld our arms and connect them to columns with heavy hex structural ASTM A325 bolts.
